Raised on the Rusty Star Cattle Company located in the Nebraska Sandhills Kaycee Hobo has proven to be an incredible sire of easy-fleshing, well-mannered, herd-building cattle. His genetic influences are the profit-making kind for both those building low-input cow herds as well as those selling or keeping calves for finishing programs.

Raised throughout his life on only the native forages available to be grazed on our four seasons ranch. Kaycee Hobo maintained exceptional body condition year round, while never receiving a lick of grain from the time he was weaned.

Dear to my heart are the grass finishing producers who desire a well-marbled, superior cut of beef for their customers.  Kaycee Hobo has gained a reputation as being the sire for providing traits that work well in forage-based programs. He is a bull that adds pounds without excessive frame and is a tested A2A2 milk fat gene carrier. He passes these traits to his sons and daughters allowing their calves the optimal start.

Producers from several parts of North America are using Kaycee Hobo as a foundation for their cattle operations. Cooperative producers within the network of the breeder of this bull, Pharo Cattle Company, have purchased semen from us to use within their own cow herds. A fine compliment to Kaycee Hobo’s success.

Through the years we have maintained a limited amount of semen. It is available for domestic and international export.
